It was Easter night and you were tucking your little sister in for bed. After kissing her goodnight, you went downstairs to gather the colored eggs that you had made with her and a bunch of other eggs from the 'Easter Rabbit' into a basket. You gritted your teeth against the cool Spring air and began to walk along the edge of your yard. This would be your first time hiding the eggs since your parents passing. You yawned and placed the eggs strategically where (L/s/n) could find them easily, the prettier ones harder to find than others. As you bent over to hide an orange egg under a leaf, you frowned, noticing an egg already there. Tilting your head to the side, you placed your egg next to the mysterious and pick the other one up. “_______, _______ wake up its Easter its Easter”. Your head shot up and you rubbed your eyes. There jumping up and down on your bed was your little sister ______ and she was obviously excited. Easter was your favourite holiday with all the egg hunting and all the fun. Though what you liked to do the best is to try and find the Easter bunny and your sister would always help you. You may be (y/a) but you still believed in the guardians. Your two favourites are the sandman and the Easter bunny. You also like Santa and the tooth fairy but not as much as your two favourites. As for Jack frost you didn’t really like him because sometimes he would make it snow on Easter. Not that you didn’t like the snow you just didn’t want it to snow on Easter because it would always cover the eggs so the children couldn’t find them. You and your sister brushed your teeth, got dressed, brushed your hair and went down stairs for breakfast. When you both had finished your breakfast you ran upstairs to grab your egg baskets while your sister got her shoe’s on. When you also had your shoes on you both headed outside. For once it wasn’t snowing you smiled and set off to the park to meet Jamie and his sister Sophie. When you got to the park you saw two figures in the distance. When you got closer you saw it was Jamie and Sophie. You and your sister ran up to them. “Hey Jamie hey Sophie how you been” you asked as you gave them both a hug. “Hey ______ hey_______ and we’ve been fine thank how about you two” Jamie responded. “Good to hear and we’re doing great thanks” you said smiling. “Good” Sophie said running up to you and gave you a hug. When you pulled away you noticed something. You looked around and no one was there. “Hey Jamie how come there is no one here but us four”? You ask still looking puzzled. Jamie just laughs and says “well my special friend came to my house the other day and asked if I would help him make a surprise egg hunt for you, ______ and Sophie”. “And who is your special friend may I ask” you say in a funny voice which makes them laugh. “I can’t tell you and besides you’re going to meet him soon. Actually I wonder if he’s ready yet”. Jamie says with a cute smile. “Well why don’t you three go find him and I’ll stay here” you say as you sit on a nearby rock. “Ok stay right there we won’t be long” Jamie says and they run off. Wonder who the special person is? You think to yourself and you sit there in utter silence. Then you hear laughter and voices. You turn around to see your sister, Jamie and Sophie walking towards you in front of a 6ft bunny. Your eyes widened and your mouth dropped. You suddenly snapped out of your trance when you heard him say “hello mate you like the surprise”. You had always loved Australian accents. His voice was soft and kind. “Umm hello and yes I do thank you” you said smiling. “I’m ______ .I’m guessing your the Easter bunny it’s nice to meet you” you say walking up to him and stick out your hand to shake his paw. “It’s nice to meet you too _____ and yes I am but call me Bunny” he says grabbing hold of your hand and shaking it gently. His paw is so soft and fluffy you say to yourself as you gaze into his mesmerising green eyes. You couldn’t break away from his gaze. That is until you both hear Jamie yell “______,_______ Pitch has got your sister he’s over there” he says pointing over to where Pitch was holding your sister by the arm. He had black swirly hair, dark but pale skin and wore a black robe. “Jamie Sophie get behind me” you shouted and they nodded and ran behind you. Bunny got out his boomerangs and throws one at pitches arm. Pitch tried to dodge it but it was too quick and he let go of ______ and fell back holding his arm in pain. ______ ran up to you and you held her close. “You think you can defeat me “Pitch says as he gets back on his feet. Bunny nods glaring at him. “Well you’re wrong because you can’t kill fear Bunny” Pitch says as black sand horses surround him. “Get them back home I’ll take of this” Bunny says and you nod. When you got to Jamie’s house you had an idea. “Hey Jamie you know when you fought against Pitch with the guardians how did you destroy them” you ask. “Well I said that I wasn’t afraid of him and when I toughed his black sand horses they turned into nice dream sand” Jamie said knocking on his front door. “Ok ______ you stay here with Jamie and Sophie I got to go help Bunny” you say and they nod. “Be safe” Jamie shouted as you ran back to the park. When you got there you saw that Bunny really needed help not that he wasn’t doing ok but because there were too many bad dreams. You ran over to him and said to yourself I’m not afraid I’m not afraid. Then you saw a bad dream galloping towards you. You put your hand out and closed your eyes. After a few moments you opened your eyes. The bad dream had turned into a puppy. It ran around you and nuzzled your legs. It took quite a long time to destroy all the nightmares but you did it. Pitch had ran out of nightmares and he disappeared. You and Bunny started walking back to Jamie’s house to tell them that everything was ok now. When you collected them and went back to the park you started on the surprise egg hunt. You had collected 10, your sister got 7, Jamie got 11 and Sophie got 6. When it was getting dark Bunny led you and the others to the big hill in the park. “And for the last part of the surprise we are going to star gaze” Bunny said with a warm smile. Jamie saw a form of stars that looked like a robot, Sophie had found a butterfly, ______ had found a bear and you had found a Bunny. As time pasted everything went silent so you guessed they had fallen asleep. You looked over to Bunny who was still gazing at the stars. Suddenly the wind picked up and went wright throw your clothes. You were freezing. Your teeth chattered like crazy and you shivered like a chiwawa. Bunny saw that you were cold and thought for a moment. You suddenly felt two paws under your arms. You were lifted up and placed on Bunny’s lap. You turned about to say something but then stopped. It was happing again you couldn’t break away from his gaze. The wind picked up again and sent shivers down your spine. You shuffled up to Bunny’s chest and he wrapped his furry arms around you. You were blushing like crazy you had never felt this way towards anyone before. You were about to closed your eyes when you felt Bunny move you looked up to see him looking back at you. You couldn’t control yourself it was as if someone had taken over you. You leaded in and so did Bunny. When your lips met there were sparks. You felt all warm you didn’t even feel the cold wind anymore. All you were focused on was the kiss. When you pulled away you were both out of breath. You smiled and snuggled up to bunny again and gazed at the stars. Maybe Jack Frost isn’t all that bad you thought to yourself and you closed your eyes and drifted off to sleep letting the sandman give you the nicest of dreams. “My work here is done” Jack whispered and flew off into the night’s sky.
